Skype is a free video conferencing application, it’s incredibly simple to use and requires very little bandwidth to establish a connection. I teach a number of people through Skype as in some cases they’re at a remote location or they prefer it for convenience.
I Skype using a separate HD camera and microphone, this provides an extremely clear HD picture along with high quality sound. I’d say until recently the technology hasn’t been advanced enough to teach remotely but now it’s a real feasible way to learn.
